It's a wise investment.
Mark Rutland drove his new wife Marnie home to Baltimore to visit her Mother
in Alfred Hitchcock's 1964 thriller "Marnie." The dark gray finish
of that car with the black leather interior was said to be a reflection
of the dark tone of the movie.
Sean Connery and Tippi Hedren starred. Filming was slated to begin on Monday,
November 25, 1963, but was delayed due to the assassination of President
John F. Kennedy, who was a big fan of these Lincolns. In fact, he was riding
in one when he was assassinated.
