Note: Several items listed as standard for 1974 and/or 1975 returned to
the options list in 1976. They include: Tinted Glass, Automatic Seat Back
Release, WSW Tires, Front Cornering Lamps, AM/FM Stereo Radio, and Power
Rear Side Windows. (Power Rear Side Windows were no longer available even
as an option. The 1976 Continental Mark IV Standard Equipment list was changed similarly, which indicates this change was not necessarily
done in preparation for the downsizing of the Thunderbird in 1977, which
resulted in a substantial price drop and better fuel economy, but with
fewer standard features than had become customary.)
