Note: Only the Red, Black, Light Gold, and Chestnut Metallic interiors were
monotone; the Light Rose Beige Metallic and Light Pearl Beige interiors
featured a darker shade on the padded instrument panel, upper door trim
panels, rear quarter trim panels, and the package tray behind the back
seat. The Rose Beige and Light Pearl Beige seats, however, differed from
the two tone combinations, in that the bolsters and inserts matched. Other
interior combinations featured a darker shade on the seat bolsters, which
coordinated with the darker shade on the padded instrument panel, upper
door trim panels, rear quarter trim panels, and the package tray.

interior shown below in Red Leather (code85).

|
Note: The Limited Edition Landau interior differed from the others. The
padded instrument panel and the carpeting, which extended to the bottom
of the door panels, were Dark Rose Beige (Maroon). This color was darker
than the color normally associated as Rose Beige. The balance of the interior
was White. This included the steering wheel, which featured a unique metallic
insert around the rim. Other Landau models for 1963 featured a simulated
woodgrain steering wheel. See our Limited Edition Landau page for more information.
All interiors featured a silver tinsel welt on the seats, separating the crinkle bolsters from the Vachette inserts. |
