- 40,000 Volts
- 1.5 or 3.0 Ohm primary resistance values available
- Available in chrome or black for a stock appearance
- Legal in all 50 states and Canada (C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-57-10)
- 90-day warranty
- Oil filled for superior heat control
- Almost 25% more voltage at 2,000 rpm than a stock coil, and over 10% more at 4,000 rpm
- Higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for additional power, smoothness, and better fuel economy
- Internally resisted for compatibility with many ignition systems
- Benefits almost all distributor-type inductive systems
This is the original PerTronix Flame-Thrower Coil design, which is a perfect match to the Original Ignitor electronic ignition system. This coil can also be used as a replacement for original equipment (OEM) coils in most cases.
The oil filled coils offer great heat control for normal street applications, and the epoxy filled coils provide better winding support for off road vehicles and boats, where excessive vibration can damage standard coils.
