1980 Versailles interiors were upgraded to include new Twin Comfort Lounge Seats that include Fold-Down Center Armrests and Driver's and Passenger's Recliners as part of the Versailles' standard equipment. Upholstered in a comfortable, durable "Luxury Cloth" nylon knit fabric which has a napped and sheared texture reminiscent of cashmere. Luxury Cloth is available in six colors, including a new Midnight Blue shade. The sew style features three inch wide pleats with wider bolsters.

Genuine Leather covers the instrument panel top surface, door arm rests, and wraps the steering wheel rim. A high gloss woodtone applique on the instrument panel, steering wheel, and door trim panels gives the interior additional warmth and richness.

Ultra-soft genuine Leather seating surfaces were available as an option on cars with Twin Comfort Lounge Seats.

Note: A 6-Way Power Driver's Seat was standard in 1980, replacing the 4-Way Power Seat previously provided as standard.
