| 1973 Lincoln Continental front and rear seats were constructed of a steel-frame,
energy-absorbing design that was covered with molded polyurethane foam
to provide protection in an accident while comforting passengers in living
room luxury. Interiors included two standard cloth and vinyl upholsteries. Westminster Knit was a smooth nylon knitted fabric available in four colors on the Sedan, and three colors on the Coupé. All were offered with optional Twin Comfort Lounge Seats. The second standard interior was a Brocade Cloth/Vinyl combination that had an elegant new pattern. It was available in three colors for all models, and could also be ordered with the optional Twin Comfort Lounge Seats.
