1970 Lincoln Continentals featured two standard interiors. Both provided
front bench seats and front and rear center fold-down armrests. Two upholstery
materials were offered, a pleated Knitted Tricot Nylon (left) or a Brocade
and Vinyl with a wide pleat and tie-button sew style (below).
Individually adjustable front Twin Comfort Lounge Seats are optionally
available with all interiors.

Interior dimensions were greatly increased for 1970; the seat cushions
were deeper front to back, with four inch higher rear seat backs for additional
comfort. Rear passenger legroom was dramatically increased, and front headroom,
shoulder room, hiproom, and legroom all received increased dimensions.

The optional genuine leather interior provided leather on seating surfaces
and carefully matched super soft vinyl on seat sides, bolsters, and interior
trim panels.
Leather was the most popular choice for 1970 Lincoln Continental owners,
and cost an extra $157.40.
The pleated upholstery pattern was similar to the one used with Knitted
Tricot Nylon upholstery.
