Note: Accent stripe configuration and positioning changed for 1977 (see above, click image to view larger size in new window or tab). Dual accent stripes were located on the front of the hood, just below the crease where the flat surface meets the horizontal face of the hood. One set of dual stripes continues down the hood and along the upper door, following the contour of the roofline along the top of the rear fender. It wraps around the deck lid in the same location as the hood, and forms a complete circle around the car. The thicker of the two stripes is on top of the thinner stripe. (Eldorado Custom Biarritz has special accent striping, and this does not apply to that model.)
