Thunderbird Promo Models were made for Ford Motor Company and distributed through Ford Dealers nationwide. Given as gifts to customers while they waited for their "real" T-bird to arrive, these promo cars had exceptional detail, and sometimes listed specifications on the bottom. Some of them even hide a Philco Transistorized AM radio inside! Molded in the correct factory colors, these model cars are highly coveted by classic Thunderbird collectors.
