The 1975 Buick Riviera received a beautiful front end restyle, with a grille
that harkened back to the classic era. Consisting of 57 individual chrome
bars this grille design should rank as one of the best ever. New rectangular
headlamps on both sides of the grille emphasized the classic new look.
The front fenders curved elegantly around to meet the front design, and
featured wrap-around cornering lights.
Inside, power windows, tilt steering wheel, and a quartz crystal digital
clock were all standard features.
Genuine leather upholstery, an outside thermometer, and an air cushion
restraint system are options worth seeking out on these cars.
In a sea of conformity, the 1975 Riviera was a pleasant island away from
the crowd, and it still is today.
