A one-year-only model, the 1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta was equipped with almost every option offered by Oldsmobile in 1953. This model featured 1954 GM styling traits, one of which was the wrap around windshield, which was about to become a very popular 1950s automotive design.

The limited production Fiesta was joined on the market by sister divisions Cadillac with its Eldorado, and Buick with its Skylark, all of which were convertibles. The Fiesta was the rarest of them all, as a mere 458 Fiestas were built. With a base price of $5,715, the Fiesta was by far the most expensive Oldsmobile in 1953, and was more expensive than most Cadillacs at the time.
