![]() The 1967 Ford Mustang wore all new sheet metal outside, and had a completely new interior as well. Instead of giving the car a totally different look for 1967, Ford kept many of the design traits from the first generation Mustang, yet gave the car a fresh new updated appearance. Luxury was also emphasized for 1967, with available optional equipment such as overhead map lights mounted in a roof console on Hardtops, a Speed Control system, and a Tilt-Away Steering Wheel, a new feature borrowed from Mustang's big sister, the 1967 Thunderbird. Ford's powerful 390 V-8 would also be available for customers who wanted a high performance 1967 Mustang. |
