This was the final year for the Mark IV, and the first year for the Designer Series cars. Four of the World's top fashion and jewelry designers, namely Cartier,
Bill Blass, Givenchy, and Pucci each designed a 1976 Continental Mark IV
with unique color combinations, striping, and interior trim. The opera
windows bore the signature or logo of the designer.
As you search for Mark IV parts, keep in mind most 1972-1976 cars share
quite a few parts, and the Ford Thunderbird of those years is also very
similar, so expand your auction search to include these terms as well.
