![]() The 1973 Lincoln Continental was little changed from the 1972 model. A new impact-absorbing front bumper system was mandated by Federal standards, but other changes were minor. New options for 1973 included an AM/FM stereo radio with integral stereo tape system that played pre-recorded 8-track tapes. Sales were up 28% for the year, and Lincoln said the 1973 models were even quieter than earlier models, which were considered by most at the time to the quietest cars available at any price. |
