![]() IMPERIAL'S NEW MOBILE DIRECTOR OPTION MAKES THE CROWN COUPE AN OFFICE ON WHEELS One of the most interesting options ever offered on an automobile appeared
for the first time on the 1967 Imperial. Called the Mobile Director, this
option for Crown Coupes featured a front passenger bucket seat that could
be swiveled around to face the rear seat. A Walnut table could be set up
between the front and rear seats for a cozy intimate dinner at road side,
or a busy executive and his secretary could work while en route to the
next meeting. When stowed, the underside of the table featured a padded
top that served as a center rear seat armrest. |
