Saying the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham was exclusive is an understatement.
Seriously.
The most expensive production Cadillac ever built at the time, the 1957
Eldorado Brougham was an incredibly complex work of art. Virtually everything
was standard - even air conditioning, which was unheard of as a standard
feature at the time. Additional niceties for front seat occupants included
a cigarette case, vanity mirror, vanity compact, lipstick, stick cologne,
tissue dispenser, and four magnetized gold-finished drinking cups. In the
rear, a storage compartment in the center armrest contained a note pad,
pencil, portable vanity mirror, and a perfume atomizer filled with Arpege
Extrait de Lanvin.
