CLASSIC CAR

The fabulous 1957 Eldorado was available in two body styles, the Biarritz
Convertible (shown at right) and the Seville Coupe. Either were by far
the flashiest cars in the Cadillac lineup. Cadillac's new styling was a
sensation in 1957, and remains popular today. Shark-style rear fins gave
the car a distinctive look, as did the rounded rear quarter panels that
flowed beautifully into the rear bumper. Stainless steel panels graced
the rear wheel housings and lower rear quarter panels. The massive front
bumper was made of three sections, and the Eldorados came with a long list
of standard features that separated them from the standard Cadillacs. |
