![]() The 1956 Chrysler 300B had 340 horsepower in standard form, and 355 horsepower with the optional 10:1 compression ratio. It was the fastest and most powerful American car in 1956, and set the World Passenger Car Speed Record at Daytona Beach, Florida with an average speed of 139.9 mph. Just 1,102 were built. Few changes were made from 1955. The taillamps were revised, in keeping with changes to other Chrysler models for 1956. |
